United: A City-Wide Worship Event welcomes all to join on Pentecost Sunday for a gathering of worship, integrated with moments of prayer and spoken word by Lo The Poet.
The North Alabama Pastors United for Change is a collective of non-partisan leaders united by faith across racial and denominational lines. Their commitment is to stand in unity and raise their spiritual voices against systems of oppression, with the goal of healing racial divisions in Huntsville.
North Alabama Pastors United for Change collaborator Bishop Daniel J. Richardson of Eagles Nest Ministries explains, "Pentecost Sunday is one of the most consequential days in the life of the Believer. It is a time of Empowerment and a paradigm shift in the mindset of God’s people. We have this opportunity to experience a unified day of worship that will impact this city, this State, this Nation and this World for the Kingdom of Heaven.”
“It’s been a hard two years with a global pandemic, political division, and racial unrest,” said John Tanner, Cove Church Lead Pastor and North Alabama Pastors United for Change collaborator. “During this time of uncertainty, confusion and fear, this event offers us the opportunity to come together and experience hope and healing."
